Citsabha Collective’s focused effort towards social causes

In Focus

Teaching classical dance and music to children of economically-challenged backgrounds. This can be done through

  • regular classes
  • specifically conducted workshops
  • audio-visual knowledge transfer programs where the artist is speaking/demonstrating from a remote location.

Workshops

  • Designed as lecture-demonstrations. Children will be exposed to different arts through this.

  • Dance or music intensives. Children will be specifically taught certain pieces of the repertoire and then be asked to collectively perform at the end of a 5 or 6-day intensive.

  • On related topics such as health and nutrition, personality development etc, thus leading to an integrated and all-round growth of the child.

It has been my honour and pleasure to be associated with Srividya Angara Sinha at Citsabha Collective through her breathtaking Kuchipudi performances, which elevates all of us Rasikas to a truly divine space. Every aspect of her dance, be it technical finesse, bhaava and abhinaya work in perfect harmony/unison to create such a magnificent work of art. Here's wishing that Citasabha Collective spreads its wings far and wide for Rasikas all over the world. All the best.
